Fiskars Paper Edgers Scissors

So here is my question of the day. What is your favorite cutting tool for scrapbooking? Your cricut? Fiskars scissors?

I have bunches of Fiscars Paper Edgers. Do you know how many different edges there are? I have no clue but know that Provo Craft has a ton of paper edgers too.

As with my cricut cartridges I am struggling to decide how to organize and contain my scissors. I already have one of these:

Full of scissors. I haven't opened it in goodness knows how long so I have no idea what designs I have, if there are duplicates, or even if I like them any more. I haven't decided if this is the best way for to organize them yet but it will have to do for now.

Back to the heading of my last post Where to start?? I have searched and began reading articles and blogs on where to start with my scrapbooking. Here at EHow they begin with some simple things.

- Family Photos
- A photo album or scrapbook
- Scissors
- Foam Adhesive squares
- Glue
- Papers, Ribbons, and Embelishments

Ok... I have most of that except for the adhesive and glue, and I need to get good scrapbooking pens. So now I guess I need to decide what event I want to take on first. I'm thinking the whole reason I started this blog in the begining my first little bundle of awesomeness.

So here are a couple layouts that I kinda like:

Its a Boy! found at Shelly's Scrapbook Layout and this one that focuses on the ultrasound at Tiny Toes Forever. I found Mo's first ultrasound today and we have a ton of ultra sound pictures for little guy #2 (to be named later). Now to decide on papers and other embelishments.

Until Later....

Oh My!! Where to start??!!

So I started this Scrapbook blog I'm assuming when I found out I was pregnant with little guy number 1. I wanted to be able to document everything and have a cute way of showing it all. That didn't happen how ever. I have collected tons of supplies over the years in the hopes of starting a scrapbook and things just haven't happened.

Now I am hunting for ideas of where to start. We have tons of digital pictures that we will just need to print out so that we can put them in the wonderful pages that I hope I will be able to get ideas from the web.

Forgive me for the lack of photos in my posts as I am actually writing this from bed. Resting as we are expecting our second munchkin. we have reached the half way point but my body is still protesting some things.

First things first as a scrapbooker, do you ever feel disorganized? I remember seeing sticker pockets and things to organize stickers and die cuts as well as the multitude of other scrapbooking supplies but have no idea where to start with the things that I have. I have tons of paper, scissors, stamps, cricut cartridges you name it and am adding to that pile it seems like monthly.

So in an effort to organize my things not just to make things look pretty but, I hope to make it easier to find things and we have decided to move the guest room into my sewing craft room so I need to clear out and make space. The first thing on my list to purchase when I have a coupon or there is a sale is an Artbin organizer.

I have a bunch of these bins to organize my fat quarters and charm squares for quilting So I figure what better way to organize my cricut cartridges. Now what next scissors? Papers? Rubber stamps? Have any good ideas let me know please.. Smiles
